Marian Penner Bancroft氏 展覧会「gathering」
Marian Penner Bancroft’s new work “gathering” (2018-19) consists of a suite of colour photographs and a video loop produced in British Columbia and the UK. The work depicts both artificial and natural forms and objects, photographed either in the studio or in the landscape, then brought together on the gallery walls to create a particular conversation about the world.
Vancouver based artist, Marian Penner Bancroft has been featured in numerous exhibitions across Canada and abroad. Her work is held in major public collections including the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery, the National Gallery of Canada and the High Commission of Canada in London, UK. She is a Professor Emerita at the Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
